About the Owner – Amy
Owned and operated by Amy McNeilly, The Vault Eatery & Pub is located at the corner of Beckwith & Russell Streets in Smiths Falls. As this location was once a bank and there are still two very large antique vault doors on the main floor, Amy felt the name fitting.
July 2020 · Hi, I’m Amy. After over 20 years in the restaurant and service industry, I am very excited to be sharing with you my passion and life’s dream. I am thrilled to introduce you to The Vault Eatery & Pub in Smiths Falls. I have built a reputation for providing exceptional service and I intend to pair that with new and exciting foods in my new restaurant.
The Smiles Behind the Masks
After living in Jasper for 15 years, Amy’s life changed when she moved to Smiths Falls in 2015. Fast forward a few years and she now owns and operates The Vault Eatery & Pub on Russell Street. She opened the doors at the peak of the pandemic in 2020!
Opening a restaurant during a pandemic has presented Amy with challenges, but has been worth the effort. “I enjoy being able to have a place to call my own. I can create the atmosphere I want for my customers and to offer a menu that is unique and that I’m proud of.” Taking time to stop and smell the flowers is rare for restaurant owners, but Amy still finds the time to get out and about in the community .
